The Contemporary Austin: Susurrus

Part radio play, part stroll in the park, part lesson in bird dissection, part musical recital: This internationally acclaimed event, a reinterpretation of A Midsummer Night's Dream with no actors or stage, has been customized for The Contemporary Austin's Laguna Gloria site by Scottish artist David Leddy. Audio players and maps are available from visitor services during regular gallery hours. June 14-28. Tue.-Sun., 10am-4pm. $10.

Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike

Christopher Durang's new Chekhov-inspired, Tony-winning comedy has its Central Texas premiere, starring Beth Broderick, Lauren Lane, and Jaston Williams under the direction of Abe Reybold. May 28-June 22. Wed.-Sat., 7:30pm; Sun., 2:30pm. $25 and up.
