  • It's … it's … HIDEOUTRAGEOUS!

There's a stage upstairs, there's a stage downstairs, there's coffee all over the place and all sorts of shows here. This Thursday brings you the Threefer and Free Fringe of improv, and you can check out that fancy-ass Big Bash and more on Friday, and cheer for your favorite champions in the hotly contended Theatresports Tournament on Saturdays, right after the time-looped Rewind and right before the more well-baked lightly breaded Maestro. $5-15

The Hideout Theatre, 617 Congress, 512/443-3688

  • For Time & Eternity

American Berserk Theatre, who previously brought us the critically lauded hit show Subject to Control, returns with their latest, written by Curtis Luciani, directed by Rob Yoho, and starring Kaci Beeler. Which already has us clicking for a ticket, but listen to what it's about. Subtitled The Secret History of Mormonism's Elect Lady and Her Sister Wives, it's a look behind the veil of the Mormon faith's proud beginnings, an exploration of the precarious balance between love, faith, and duty in an embattled religious community. Through April 22. Thu.-Sat., 8pm, $15

First Unitarian Universalist Church, 4700 Grover, 512/452-6168

  • Davis Gallery: Kindred Spirits

You know what's generally good? Paintings that are photorealistic. You know what's even better? Photorealistic paintings of urban scenes – especially familiar urban scenes from right here in Austin. You know what's just about perfect? When an exhibition of photorealistic paintings of familiar urban scenes features work by Daniel Blagg and David Leonard. So, this show? It's like we won the goddamn aesthetic lottery, isn't it? Answer: yes. Through April 8
