    • Cirque du Soleil: Ovo

Up there in Cedar Park's H-E-B Center is where the multifarious arthropods of Cirque du Soleil's new OVO show have gathered to present a dazzling, kinetic spectacle of acrobatic derring-do and narrative wonderment that'll leave you breathless. "When a mysterious egg appears in their midst, the insects are awestruck and intensely curious about this iconic object that represents the enigma and cycles of their lives." We reckon the iconic Cirque itself is representative of an enigma we'd like in our own life cycles as often as possible – and certainly a perfect excuse to head north and GTFA from the hurlyburly hubbub of SXSW, if only for a night, this coming week. March 15-19. Wed.-Fri., 7:30pm; Sat., 4 & 7:30pm; Sun., 1:30 & 5pm, $52 ($25, kids) and up

H-E-B Center at Cedar Park, 2100 Avenue of the Stars, Cedar Park, 512/600-5000
