20th Anniversary Reunion and Cast Party: Dazed and Confused

The film will receive the Star of Texas Award at the Texas Film Hall of Fame the following night. Q&As will occur "before, during, and after" with the expected guests, including Richard Linklater, Joey Lauren Adams, Cole Hauser, Anthony Rapp, Marissa Ribisi, and many others.   • Wally Workman Gallery: Book of Etiquette

    Tracey Harris uses thin layers of oil paint to create luminous hyper-real images, her creations juxtaposing common objects against classically rendered nudes and uncommon phrases on seemingly academic book spines. We're a bit enamored of this whole thing, and recommend it highly. Through March 30.

  • Once There Were Six Seasons

    Austin's own Glass Half Full Theatre, a cadre of virtuoso puppeteers, offers this workshop production of their newest work, wherein the acclaimed company manipulates vast miniature landscapes, highlighting how the accelerating pace of human-caused climate change has outstripped the ability of traditional cultures to adapt their lifestyles. Written and directed by Caroline Reck, performed by people who seem able to bring dead objects to life. Through March 3. Thu.-Sat., 8pm; Sun., 6pm. $12-20
