Celebrating its 10th year, the No Idea Festival highlights the fringes across two weekends in Austin and San Antonio. This year’s event brings together everything from the electronics of Bonnie Jones and Bryan Eubanks to jazz drummer Alvin Fielder, as well as a host of experimentalists from Mexico City and Paris joining Austin’s own avant-garde elite in loose, improvised sets. Hosted by a local who absorbed such lessons, Zeale, the stacked outdoor bill boasts DJ Chorizo Funk, Tee Double, Phranchyze, and Da’shade Moonbeam.
