You Say You Want a 'Revolution'?

Maybe you've already heard that the new NBC show Revolution has taken up residence in Austin. Work on the next season begins on July 5 and the producers anticipate continuing into April 2014. They reached out to us with this open casting call, as they hope to cast all their extras, featured extras, and stand-in roles locally. All roles are paid.

Here's a rundown of some the types they're looking for: • Thin Frail Men, Women and Children
• Heavily Pierced and/or Tattooed Men and Women
• Men & Women with odd/interesting Body Modifications
• Jugglers and Carnival Sideshow Acts
• Super Gorgeous Beautiful Women
• Hipsters
• Men & Women with Military and Law Enforcement experience
• Very Elderly Men & Women with wrinkles and character faces
• Refugee Camp types
• Homeless types
• Interesting character faces
• Wild, Scary Tribesmen & Tribeswomen
• and many others

To be considered for work on this project, you must visit www.onlocationcasting.net and complete a free talent application (do not pay for the optional "active" upgrades as it is not necessary to do so). Please make sure your photos are recent – they do not have to be professional and can be snapshots as long as they are good quality (no sunglasses, hats, masks; no people in the photo other than just yourself, and should be taken within the past three months).

Filming will take place on a Monday-Friday schedule. Work days generally average about 12 hours a day and you must have full-day availability on the day or days you are selected to work. You must have valid proof of Texas residency (TX Drivers License, TX Identification Card, TX Voter's Registration Card). Pay rate for nonunion extras is $64 for an eight-hour day ($8.00/hour), plus time and one half after eight hours. Food and snacks provided.
