Blood Over Texas's '4th Annual Zombie Skate' this Sunday

Rarely if ever do zombies get the chance to strap on a pair of roller skates and stagger-slide in endless, eternal circles to the beat of an indifferent universe. Outside of George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead, I mean, and hey, that was an ice-skating rink and this is going to be a flat-tracked bloodbath, baby.
Tomorrow night, Sunday, Oct. 21, 9:30pm, Austin-based horror-fan social network Blood Over Texas -- full disclosure: I'm a founding member of the group -- will be lacing up their four-wheels and turning Playland Skating Center into a gruegasm of bearings clogged with sticky red goo and overall carnage.
Expect to see Bunny Voodoo and the Dolls from the Crypt in attendance, as well as most of The Jackalope staff/clientele. How much more fun can you have for a measly $8 ($6 for BoT members)? That's a helluva lot cheaper than posting bail after getting caught messing around (and yeah, we mean that literally) in the Texas State Cemetery after dark. ”Viva los muertos!
