How did you get yourself into this predicament, and what does "tazzy" mean?
True to its name,
Super Puzzle Platformer combines elements of puzzle games and platforming. The former is a little bit
Tetris and the latter is a little bit
Mario. Together they make an arcade throwback that rewards repeat plays. But leave the quarters at home. In fact you don't even need to leave your house. That's how good of a friend I am to you.
There are two ways you can attack
Super Puzzle Platformer. You can put your head down and charge into the game which translates to relentlessly jumping and shooting your way through the game. And there is a certain level of fun in that. It's gaming anarchy in a button mashing kinda way, and there's nothing wrong with it. But if you want to turn your brain to its fastest setting you can do your best to shoot only those
Tetris-style block groups that serve your purposes (viz., surviving). All the while you'll have to dodge falling spiky bricks and holes in the floor leading to more spikes. Either way you play it, the difficulty ramps up quickly in a quarter-sapping fashion. Luckily for you, it's free. It took me about 20 attempts before getting a respectable score of 8540. I'm blaming Sports blog wrangler Mark Fagan for calling me during a game and ruining my chances of breaking 10,000. I'm trying to work here for crissakes.
If you get a better score, I want to hear about it (Twitter @renovitch). Until then, click here to play the game on creator Andrew Morrish's website.
