This Week's Waste of Time

Bad weather? Spend more time indoors. Here's how.

Hint: jump!
Hint: jump!

I know. Not another running and jumping game, but, hey, since you can't do it outside right now without getting wet. Some weather we're having, huh? Time spent inside should not be wasted with books or housecleaning or god forbid TV watching. It should be spent in front of the computer screen perfecting your hand-eye coordination. Here's how:

Exit Path plays like the movie Running Man, except you're a bit more svelte and there's way more lasers. Sounds cool, right? Add a bit of Portal style double-dealing and promises of freedom, and you get a fast-paced game that doesn't scrimp on style.

There's not much to say here other than a recommendation that when you get to an area with swinging axes, trial and error is what worked for me. Don't get discouraged because you keep seeing your body parts flying around the screen. Luckily there are save points placed near every truly difficult obstacle. You'll thank the designers for that, believe me.

I forgot that they made browser games that didn't have nostalgic pixilated graphics and chiptune soundtracks. Although the fast-paced techno jams can grate on the nerves just as quickly.
