Beer and icing flowed freely at the second annual Pasties and Pastries party at Emo's. Amongst the crowd was Chronicle interviewee and SXSW interactive panelist Molly Crabapple. Big news for her: Briefly before she arrived in Austin, she announced by Twitter that she'll be producing "a Rococo steampunk murder mystery for DC's Zuda Imprint" entitle The Puppet Masters.
Similarly big news for some of the night's burlesque performers: Ruby Joule of The Jigglewatts will be heading back to Houston to take part in an encore night of the tribute to Bettie Page.
And some good news for SX veterans: The Lego pit is back! However, it's no longer by the north-west doors of the Convention Center: Head instead to the area in front of ballroom A and get building.
