Coulter (who once said that heaven looks like "New York City during the Republican National Convention" and wants Jews to be "perfected") dropped by the Fox & Friends studio to pimp out her latest book, used the issue of the ad to sidle in an attack on President Obama. She asked, "Can we get the ad to find, you know, Obama's cocaine dealer now that he's two years into his presidency?"
Coulter (who once proposed "Don't Ask, Don't Tell for all of society") was making a reference to a comment by the president that he did coke when he was younger (Obama, that is, not Bush the younger.) However, it was really a jab at the mainstream media for not going after Democrats tough enough, and instead paying disproportionate attention to GOP candidates.
Of course, she glossed over the fact that the "huge ad in an Austin newspaper asking for anyone who's had sex with Rick Perry" was paid for by a Republican: Robert Morrow, a three-time delegate to the Texas Republican Convention.
Now for anyone out there with a sense of irony, there is something delicious about the hard core right fulminating about a private citizen spending their own money on what looks like a fishing expedition. Because, of course, if you're going to go on a sexual witch hunt, then you have to spend $40 million of public cash and try to impeach a president.
Coulter then wandered off to fulminate on the recent London riots, blaming it all on liberalism. As Perez Hilton so adroitly responded, "Ann, just out of curiosity, what color is the sky in your world???"
