Try as I might, I never quite get my head around the Comprehensive Plan. Yesterday, City Council voted to approve the Plan Framework and forward the Preferred Growth Scenario onward. So what's next?
Associate Planner Greg Claxton says, "This officially closes out Phase 2 of our process, and gets us fully into Phase 3, built around our seven Working Groups."

Moreover, they're looking for help, Claxton says:

The Working Groups (who have already started forming and getting up to speed on Imagine Austin) have their Kick-Off meetings March 26 and April 2. If you're interested in joining one, please sign up in advance -- we need folks to hit the ground running at the Kick-Off. … On another note, City Council is on spring break next week, and the Hustle is too. Kinda. While we're taking a week's breather on The Daily Hustle, we'll be knee-deep in SXSW Interactive. for updates, please follow the Chronicle's group Twitter account, ChronSXSW. See ya at the convention center!
