We tried to take some time off this week, but the news keeps coming: a challenger for Place 1 incumbent Chris Riley! And not just any candidate but Josiah Ingalls!
You may remember Ingalls from his unsuccessful 2009 mayoral run, where he came in fifth with 0.69% of the vote. According to the City Clerk, he announced his intent to run Nov. 18, filing paperwork naming his campaign treasurer.

In all likelihood, with few bonafides and no funding (last run, fellow mayoral candidate David Buttross actually supplied the bulk of Ingalls' contributions), Ingalls is unlikely to make a dent in Riley's reelection plans. But … it should make for some interesting debates, right?
