K8 and Andy go to New Orleans!

Yesterday K8 and I loaded up my box-like car with snacks and luggage (Luggage count: K8 - 1, Andy - 5) and we drove our heinies to New Orleans. The reason? To visit Prospect 1, the contemporary art biennial curated by fellow queer Dan Cameron.
Today we played in the French Quarter. We ate beignets at Cafe du Monde, lit candles in the cathedral, learned about the Zulu Krewe in the Presbetere, saw mind-blowing art at the Mint, and drove past the queer bars.
We were staking out our territory.
