Farmers Market Report: May 4-5

As I sit here writing, it is 48 degrees outside, but by Saturday we are supposed to be in the low eighties again, having an all-around beautiful weekend. Record-setting cold in MAY! How in the world it didn’t rain when that arctic blast of air hit all the humidity we were experiencing on Wednesday, I do not know. Did anyone get any rain? Read More | Comment »

2013 Austin Food & Wine Festival

The 2013 Austin Food & Wine Festival has come and gone. Everyone we spoke with agreed things went much better than 2012. Butler Park was certainly a more intimate setting, so getting from one event to another was uncomplicated. Plus, there was enough grass to keep the dust from choking the crowd, or getting in all the wine glasses. Read More | Comment »
