Thirsty Nickel’s Justin Adame Wins Bartender Appreciation Day Party

Local bartender wins a party and you're invited

Thousands of bartenders nationwide were narrowed down to just 30 finalists in a contest sponsored by Sailor Jerry Rum and Liquor.com to be named the best for National Bartender's Appreciation Day. A bartender from Austin brought home the prize and the party.

That's right, Austin's own Justin Adame, of the Thirsty Nickel in the historic Downtown Entertainment District beat them all and now the public is invited to celebrate with him at a gigantic party powered by Sailor Jerry Rum.

It happens this Friday, December 6 at Thirsty Nickel (325 East 6th Street). The doors open at 8pm and the event is free for folks over 21. They’re calling it The Bronx Party because L.A.’s famous punk-rock band, The Bronx, will be on hand to rock the house while the bar serves up plenty of Sailor Jerry drink specials. The party is free, but don't forget to RSVP so Sailor Jerry and Justin know you're coming.

Congratulations, Justin!
