East Side Bars Sporting New Food Trucks Oct. 11th
Be More Pacific at the Volstead & new East Side King back at the Grackle

Hot on the heels of being named one of America's hippest hipster neighborhoods in part because of its configuration of bars, music venues, and food trucks, East Austin is now home to two new mobile food emporiums.
Be More Pacific is now located directly behind the Volstead Lounge (1500 E. Sixth), offering contemporary Filipino-American comfort food during dinner and late night service Sundays through Wednesdays from 7pm-11pm and Thursday through Saturday from 7pm-2am. The will also feature very traditional, classic home-style Filipino dishes during dinner service on Friday nights.
As promised in our East Side Bar Crawl, Paul Qui and his partners in East Side King have a brand new food truck in the parking lot of the Grackle (1700 E. Sixth) that starts serving a brand new menu tonight, October 11th! Local filmmaker Christian Remde has a short documentary about the new truck, which you can watch here.
