Cue China (Elsewhere, Offshore) Ant Hampton's Auto Teatro performance for two audience members in which they see and re-create his video conversations with Chinese workers. April 18-28, various times, at Prizer Gallery, Fusebox Office, 2023 E. Cesar Chavez.

Motion Bank This Forsythe Company research project digitally scores choreographic movement. Austin's Deborah Hay – the first artist to take part in the project – and two dancers will discuss how it works with two digital artists. Lord Wensleydale's Last High Tea The improvisers of Parallelogramophonograph and pastry chef Jodi Elliot merge food and improvised drama in a traditional English high tea honoring a visiting German dignitary. Saturday April 27, 1:30pm, at Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum, 605 Robert E. Lee Rd.

Zen Songs and Prayers Playwright Kirk Lynn and composer Peter Stopschinski create an intimate devotional event rooted in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Sunday, April 28, noon & 2pm, at Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum, 605 Robert E. Lee Rd.

Free Range Art

20 Ft. Wide A Downtown alley is transformed into public space via art installations and multigenerational happenings. Wednesday, April 17, 8:30pm, in the alley between East Ninth and 10th streets and Congress and Brazos.

transFIGURATION Photographer Rino Pizzi shot portraits of 12 Austin artists, then asked them to destroy and reconstruct them however they liked. Participants Jade Walker, McKay Otto, Catherine Lee, Wura-Natasha Ogunji, Shea Little, and Steve Wiman will destroy their portraits publicly during Fusebox. April 18-28, various times and locations.

Machine Shop

River of Gruel, Pile of Pigs: The Requisite Gesture(s) of Narrow Approach For three years, playwright Sibyl Kempson has met quarterly with artists from Physical Plant, Rubber Rep, Salvage Vanguard Theater, and Rude Mechs to develop a new theatre piece, with no planned process or structure. This is a work-in-progress showing before a premiere in 2014. Monday-Wednesday, April 22-24, 8:30pm, at the Off Center, 2211 Hidalgo.
